Waldreth Castle (1 sub-board) As you make your way through lush trees of many colors, a stunning sight meets your eyes. Ahead is a polished stone path, leading to a large marble castle unlike anything you've ever seen. Everyone is hard at work, the kitchen workers moving back and forth through an open door, bringing food in and taking food out, cleaning the ashes from the firepits, and many other things. You think, 'If this is only the back of the castle, I wonder what the front looks like?' You walk around the castle, pausing in awe. There is a large city beyond the castle. Velityne Mansion As you make your way from the castle and into the city, a mansion catches your eye. There are many near the castle, but this particular one is different. It is made of wood, and covered in ivy. You walked up the grassy path to the door, and see a wooden sign hanging on it that reads, 'Welcome to Velityne Mansion, the only standing building from the time of the Elven War.' You open the creaky door and step cautiously inside. Moderator: Isabella

Fabrian River You exit out the back of the old mansion, and see a small river running down the city's border. Stepping closer, you observe many types of fish swimming and plants swaying in the current. There is a bench nearby, and it is clear people come here often. You walk down the well-worn path to the bench and sit down. Moderator: Isabella

Demaro Waterfall Behind the trees of Waldreth's castle lies a sound that can be followed to a waterfall. In all of this kingdom these are the largest, most magnificent, beautiful falls. That is not all you can see from the place you stand on the edge of the wood. A tiny little cottage that would easily be passed by. It is then you notice your feet moving uncontrollably towards the cottage. You are quite afraid but find it so fascinating that you continue on. The cottage is now in front of you and you able to stop, all of it happened just as though it were... magic. The cottage is just as adorable as you would think from where you began. On all the little windows are flowers in different colors and different shapes. Their smell enchanting you into a drowsy walk. So this is what it feels like to be under an enchanted sleep, you say as you thunk to the ground. This was obviously the same place your mother always warned you about, 'a witch lives inside there my deary.' Moderator: Marcella

Swifton
The Emerald Rose As you walk into the sizable city of Swifton a small inn catches your eye. On the window someone had carefully created a stained glass window of a green rose. You then look up to see the sign 'Emerald Rose'. Obviously your face must have put on a show for the owner who was sweeping the off the small wooden steps. "Interest you son? Why don't you come on in, and I will explain it to ya." He says in an gruff but gentle voice. Moderator: Marcella
The Shattered Nail After walking past a few stores a man is thrown out of a building with patched up windows and a rugged door. The man stands up, obviously drunken as he swaggers toward you. He stammers as he tries to speak but falls over in his state of drunkeness. You look up and see a sign with no words just a large piece of wood with a nail that looks broken drawn lazily on it. 'Very curious thing' you think and walk into the busy loud raucousy place. Moderator: Marcella

Swifton Stables Limping through the town after your encounter at the tavern you see a bunch of horses in a building, obviously a stable. You naturally liking the horses go up to them and pet the friendly ones. That is when you hear a loud clinking noise, you turn around and walk toward the sound and find yourself in front of a muscular man in front of an anvil. It dawns on you that he is a blacksmith and you turn around knowing you do not really need his services now. Moderator: Marcella

Riverbed Square Exhaused you have sat down on a bench beside a statue. That is when a man you saw earlier in the inn walk up to you with his cane in hand and his ragged clothing trailing behind him, 'Son don't you know where you are?' Moderator: Marcella

Swifton Cottages After watching a bird or two fly over you, you notice a little girl playing with a doll and a little boy crying beside her. You ignore them and notice the figure inside of the building, a young lady playing the violin beastly, you chuckle and move on. Soon an older couple greets you and invites you in for tea, you kindly refuse them and walk on many of these small buildings seemed to be homes for these sweet people. Moderator: Marcella

Departown
Darkmoon Inn As you enter the dark and mysterious town of Departown, a large building catches your eye. Many of its windows are either boarded up, or too dirty to see anything but a faint light from inside. Two shrunken heads hang in the stairwell, yelling insults at you as you pass them by. A wooden sign hangs above the door that reads 'Darkmoon Inn' in large, uneven letters. The large wooden door is suddenly thrust open and a gruff looking man walks out, glaring coldly at you before walking down an alley. You begin to get the feel that this isn't the best town to be in. Black Tavern As you continue down the dirty, dimly lit street, you see another large building, and people moving in and out. As you get closer, you realize it is a pub. A wooden sign hangs from the door. On closer inspection, you can see that it reads Black Tavern, in slightly more even letters than those on the Inn's sign. A woman that looks to be in her early twenties is scrubbing the windows from the inside with a grey rag. You quickly pass the pub by, continuing on down the main street. Moderator: Isabella

Arkien's Blacksmithing The air suddenly becomes warmer as you near a black tent set up in a group of stores on the streetside. You stop, curious as to what is creating the heat. A middled-aged man pounds at a white-hot piece of metal with a hammer. You stop at the edge of the tent, curious but not wanting to get to close to the metal or the fire burning in a cobblestone stove nearby. The man stops, looking up at you. "Ze're sumthin' I can help ye with?" he asks in a low voice, hammer held in midair. Moderator: Isabella

Shadow Square After leaving the Blacksmith's, you hear the voices around you begin to get louder. You stop as you reach a small bridge, under which a small river runs. A cast-iron archway over the bridge reads 'Shadow Square'. As you step into the square, or rather circle, as it is a circle of cobblestone surrounded by a man-made river with two exits: the way you came in, and a bridge opposite you. Seeing what looks like a bulletin board, you walk over and begin to read some of the bulletins. 'Lost vampire child, if found, please contact Raleesa.' 'Gargoyles on the loose! Keep a lookout for them, everyone!' 'Beware the shrunken heads at Darkmoon Inn: they BITE!' 'Faeries are mischievous creatures. Don't let them lure you into believing anything they say.' As you read, you begin to realize that humans aren't the main inhabitants of this town. Moderator: Isabella

The Broken Cross As you leave the square, you can hear various vendors calling their wares. A banner is strung between two buildings. It is torn and faded, but you can just barely make out the words 'The Broken Cross' on it. A woman handing out flyers walks up to you, handing you a small scroll. "Weihcoom to Ze Brohen Kross," she says, her accent heavy. She looks human; that is, except for the black feathered wings protruding from her back. You take the scroll and slip quickly by, feeling jittery. Coming to the end of the street, you see a building much unlike the others. It is made of marble and polished until it shines. Two lanterns hang on either side of a set of mahogany double doors. Three steps lead up to the doors, also made of marble. In fancy red letters on a wooden sign above the doors reads 'Departown Meetingplace'. A small stone fountain bubbles softly in the room inside the doors of the building as you walk inside, and you look around in awe at the shining ivory walls, reflecting the light of the chandelier above.
